PocketNerd is the pseudonym of Richard Stockley, an independent .NET Consultant
based out of Lancashire in the North West of England.
Since graduating from Manchester University with an MSc in Advanced Computer Science
in 1998, Richard has developed applications using Microsoft technologies. Prior
to adopting the .NET Framework, development focussed on Visual C++, COM/DCOM and
ASP. However, Richard has specialised in developing custom Windows, Web and Microsoft
Office based applications using Visual Studio.NET and the .NET Framework for the
last

years, and has experience of developing .NET applications with .NET Framework versions
3.0, 2.0 and 1.1/0, for blue chip companies in the UK and Europe including:

focussed on .NET Framework 3.0, Windows Presentation Framework and AJAX based Web
applications.
